One of the nicest old houses in one of the most historic towns in England, Russet House was built
in 1890 as a private home, and extended in 1985 and 1989 to provide additional en suite rooms and facilities.

We have an elegant yet comfortable Dining Room and a cosy Bar. Our food is home-cooked at its
best, with à la carte and Bar Food menus.
Our Dining Room is also available for small weddings,
functions and private dinner or buffet parties.

Our thirteen bedrooms are cosy, bright and full of character - all
with colour TV, courtesy tea / coffee making facilities and direct dial telephones. Four Poster Beds available for those special occasions.
Two of our bedrooms are situated on ground level, for elderly and disabled people.
